Ivory is a renown hunter of vampires, can fight like a warrior, and is very smart. She can also weave magic that few can break.
Early Life[]
Ivory's parents died soon after her birth and she was raised by the five Malinov brothers and the five De La Cruz brothers.
She attended Xavier's mage school, but Xavier gave her to Draven Dubrinsky in exchange for the murder of Rhiannon's lifemate. When she wouldn't bend to their will, Xavier and Draven ordered vampires to tear her body apart and leave the pieces for wolves to eat, but he also had help from Xaviero and Xayvion.
Ivory communicated with the wolves and convinced them to bury the pieces of her body underground, where they slowly knit back together.
Ivory adopted the wolf pack after she learned that Kirja, Maxim, Sergey, Vadim, and Ruslan had turned vampire. Generations down the line, she converted some of them to Carpathian/wolf hybrids after they had been attacked by vampires. They take the form of tattoos on her body and the Wolves help her hunt vampires.
She chose to hide the scars on her body, knowing that it was a mental game on both sides. If the vampire(s) couldn't see that they had marked her, it gave her an edge and extra confidence while shaking up the enemy.
Dark Slayer[]
Ivory was out hunting when she happened upon Razvan on her way home. Despite her better judgement, she brought him to her lair and healed him. When Travis was captured, she rescued him but caught the attention of Mikhail and Gregori.
Razvan risked himself to force the others to let her go, uncaring of their punishments for threatening the prince. It was then that she and Gregori decided to remove the splinters that Xavier had placed in her lifemate to free him from the High Mage. She helped exonerate Razvan and show the Carpathian people the honorable man he is, stating his only crime was sacrificing himself for his child.
She was the one to cast the spell that destroyed the parasites that were killing Anya and Anastasia, as well as many other children. Soon after, she, Razvan, Natalya, and Vikirnoff went to the ice caves to face their enemy. Ivory and Razvan fought and destroyed Xavier that night.
She promised her brother Sergey that she will finish carving TRAITOR on his forehead. The T and R are the only letters upon his head.
Dark Ghost[]
Andre tells Teagan that Ivory and Razvan both go to church.
Dark Legacy[]
Dragomir tells Mikhail about Carisma, and Ivory learns she has a niece. It is implied that Ivory will come to visit for Carisma's birth. Ivory may have provided a square to the quilt sent to Emeline as a gift.
Dark Illusion[]
Isai takes inspiration from Ivory and her wolves, making his and Julija's Shadow Cats into tattoos upon their bodies.
Trivia[]
- Ivory is the first Carpathian to appear with tattoo-like images on her body.
- This is not to be confused with the Old Guard's tattoo, which is permanently on them, as the Wolves are sentient and can come off of Ivory's skin.
- Ivory would never get the chance to finish putting the word "TRAITOR" onto Sergey's head as Ferro and Elisabeta destroyed him.
- Though technically older than Razvan, due to the fact that she had "died" when she had been cut up by Draven, she had been reborn as a Daughter of Earth centuries later, and she was able to carry the other half of her lifemate's soul.
