The Fertility Ritual is one that takes place between lifemates. It is meant to heighten their sexual desire for each other while also encouraging conception and the pursuit of a relationship. It is unknown if the ritual actually allows for females to more easily have children, but it is still a lovely ritual designed to tie the couple closer.
The Night Star Flower[]
The scent given off is dependent on who is taking part in the ritual, as it takes on the scent of one's lifemate. The stigma of the flower is meant to resemble the erect member on the male in sight and taste, just as the nectar of the flower takes on the flavor of the female. The flower picked appears to be instinctual and not a conscious decision, but the male never fails to pick the required bloom at the start of the ritual. The ovary of the flower is a crimson red and the filaments are stripped. The petals resemble that of a lily, are colored white, and in the shape of a large, six-pointed star. Everything about the flower is designed to draw in the lifemated pair.
Ritual[]
First, both lifemates stand naked, usually in a field of the Night Star flowers, though nudity is not strictly necessary. The male takes the flower in both hands and presents it to his lifemate, who suckles the stigma. When she is finished, she takes the flower and presents it to him in both hands so that he may lap up the nectar.
Next, the female sits back on her heels, thighs open, so that the male can place the flower between her legs. As he does this, he says:

When he is done, he hands his mate the flower, and she repeats his actions and words as he stands or kneels.
If the male has yet to claim his lifemate, he would braid smaller flowers into her hair as she fed him the petals. However, if he has already claimed her, they each take turns feeding the other petals. When the petals are gone, the male can either claim his lifemate and make love, or they jump right into making love.
With this, the ritual is complete.
